    neither dejong or varsho are going to hit so I'd rather just leave Varsho in LF and dejong on the bench and Merrifield in 2B. I feel with Merrifield it's a comfort thing and I know he prefers 2B - so why mess with him. Having said that - if djong comes in and starts to hit a bit that could change things plus as you said depending on the mathcups

    Use your depth. oops Start calling up players, challenge your top players. Look what the Dodgers do with a constant flow of young players being promoted to the major league club, year after year.
