    42 war over 18 seasons, Merrifield is a late bloomer only 8 seasons actually the opposite of recency bias, Merrifield struggled just before the Jays picked him up and they continued to struggle when the Jays were messing with his playing time and position. His best days were a few years ago but he's looking like his old self againn. The talent is for real
