    Maybe the decision maker (or makres) is at fault? ever consider that? in which case it would explain the lack of run support as well (on top of the idotic move to trake out Berrios). Atkins has to go, a total change in philosphy is needed and that's not happening with the current regime

    I know, so sweet seing Berrios pumped up and totally dialed in. He would have gone 7/8 innings easily, give the offense a chance. ....Like wtf are you doing

    Yes exactly. We will never know for sure, teams (or at least some do, the Jays for sure do) use proprietary models based on publicly available data, but how good are those models.

    The issue is there's very little room for error in a short series, removing Berrios was just dumb I want to see their analytics

    I said earlier it was a turning point but now I'm changing....thjey lost because of it. Kikuchi came in and gave up 2 runs - even though Berrios walked the last batter the message to the team was clear - you aren't in control no matter how you perform - the players noticed. Atkins and the analytics team .... going into seasons 9 with this FO. 9.
