    that's not pushing the hands forward that's called swinging down on the ball, if you heard the phrase "short to the ball, long through the zone" that's what he was doing - kills your power. It's a Mattingly thing which is weird because even he didn't swing like that, he hates long swings.

    When coach Schneider gets the Lineup Optimizer during the pre game scrum - with the analytics guy - that's a lineup put together for him and not by him. So he needs to "by in" similar to the customized cheat sheets for the players or suggestions from the hitting coaches...etc so yes if it could be frustrating on a player/coach if the suggestions aren't working.
