  1. another DH, maybe if they find a way to move Santander
  2. Popkins will bring us Belli
  3. the comp is Corey Seager, he was puffy like Bo, while he was with the LA he lost 30lbs
  4. Gonsolin dfa'd and Ryan Ward added to the 40 man (if you know you know)
  5. Skubal is a true ace but that would be a difficult move to make
  6. and could get worse if his performance dips furth in AA. Sell high, he's still #42 on BA's top 100
  7. The Dodgers of the North ? haha
  8. Dodgers hitting philosophy https://blogs.fangraphs.com/robert-van-scoyoc-talks-hitting/ You can bet Popkins (ex Dodger) brought in some new ideas, consistency is key. Call it what you want
  9. any rumors on what it would take to get Skubal? nimmala ++ we don't have much
  10. true, didn't take the time to think it through....it's why I edited my post and added we need to add a stud starter
  11. A sign of things to come (bo?). Gausman Beiber Yesavage Berrios Bassitt? might need another stud starter
  12. If you're taking another run at it in 2026 then gotta stick with the same low whiff/low k philosophy - which means bringing back Ernie and Lukes. and add to fill holes. SHUT DOWN CLOSER
  13. and even if it';s a bit off the plate, Vlady takes these the other way all the time
  14. Love this, he doesn't need to be told to swing away. 3 - 0 green light
  15. go get Bellinger Robert Suarez
  16. Jays win if not for Pages going in for Edman - no way he makes that catch I wonder if the pre game reports even has a risk reward stat? might be something to consier - they have the data
  17. I think a case can be made getting doubled off in extra innings in game 7 of the WS is probably the worst thing that can happen to a team. Never good to give free outs. ffs all of a sudden baseball 101 getting s*** on
  18. for us this is all in hindsight plus you also need to consider the base runner, IKF isn't good at much tbh and you're asking him to take a healthy secondary lead down the line. The Jays obviously played it safe - maybe because of what happened in game 5 with Bo at 1st and then game 6 with Barger doubled off 2nd. this was lost because Hoffman couldn't close out the game in the 9th
  19. Valid points in hindsight but you also need to consider who the runner is. The best base runner probably gets the green light to push it, but IKF? a utility player. This was lost in the top of the 9th
