  1. I didn't notice....will have to watch for this
  2. on Kyle Tucker, I don't get how they ruled that a double. did a little digging and that fly ball had a 95% catch probability
  3. The Mets have 3 outfield assists......after 2 innings LOL. Benge had 2 in the same inning. s***** Padres - or should I say s***** 3B coach
  4. I wanted to factor in payroll (from Gemini Pro). Look at those White Sox We have the 5th highest payroll and the 29th fewest runs scored (so far) Here is the raw data for the five highest and five lowest MLB payrolls in 2026 compared to their offensive output so far: Team 2026 Payroll (Approx.) Payroll Rank Runs Scored (Mid-Aug) Offense Rank Los Angeles Dodgers $430 Million 1st 616 4th New York Mets $370 Million 2nd 523 22nd New York Yankees $336 Million 3rd 551 16th Philadelphia Phillies $315 Million 4th 558 15th Toronto Blue Jays $307 Million 5th 492 29th --- --- --- --- --- Chicago White Sox $116 Million 26th 594 8th Tampa Bay Rays $114 Million 27th 559 14th St. Louis Cardinals $108 Million 28th 550 17th Cleveland Guardians $90 Million 29th 494 28th Miami Marlins $83 Million 30th 550 17th
  5. per the Dbacks, Marte placed on the Restricted List. I wonder what's going on
  6. I wonder how that stands when you add in the payroll factor, I'm gonna say last.
  7. A clear double. lol.
  8. Would have been interesting if the tag on Caballero's finger came at the exact time the runner touched home plate. Tie goes to the runner lol
  9. Same, I was surprised as well but maybe that's why we can't totally rely on our eyes. Interesting on the jump and route stats - never looked at those before so I'll check them out. On the Catch Difficulty Scale he's only had one 5 star attempt (5% catch probability and he didn't make the catch) zero at the 3 and 4 star difficulty level, many at the 1 and 2 level. So we need to see more
  10. I mean was he even in the top 10 on the cubs prospect list? Fangraphs ranked him #30 with a Future Value of 35+ before the '26 season. Fangraphs also did a post trade report on him but didn't update the FV but they did give him glowing remarks for his plate discipline, less so on his outfield reads though and adding the Jays might be able to improve his reads given their history of doing so with other players. https://blogs.fangraphs.com/the-cubs-land-a-potential-playoff-starter-in-kevin-gausman/ We have to wait and see.
  11. A's blew a 3 nothing lead, not that it was a big lead but still
  12. one more win and we'll need big papi in here with vlady to give us a good ole "da yakeeees win"
  13. ABOSLUTLEY WILD, Homered to all fields, left, centre and right
  14. I like that they're considering calling up Ricky Tee. Lets see what he's got
  15. surprised obstruction wasn't called on that play at 3rd
