    ^...however imagine if the batter is facing his dugout - the dugout sees the pitch on dugout monitor (same view as us). They could potentially signal to the batter to ask for a challenge - they would be pretty much instant

    according to the model it doesn't take into account command/location, deception and pitch sequencing. Given savages high arm slot that would fall into the deception category so the model probably under rates at least his splitter and possibly all his pitches.
