    Look at the sellers. Rockies never sell. Angels and White Sox are retarded so they'll get a Drew Thorpe back instead of something good (Getz is retarded but their PD has already passed us). The Angels don't even have anything on top of it. The only dangerous sellers are that cuck Bendix in Miami and the Rays. But get this, none of them can retain or take back money like us.

    This deadline is an enormous fork in the road for the next 5 years. You have to sell everything you can. If you don't you're just tacking on years to the rebuild. It's a perfect storm that has landed us as one of the most well positioned sellers with a justification to sell!

    I think the "innings eater" stuff still appeals to certain teams. Probably the Cards, Rockies, Nats. And the player option might make these teams wrongly think he'll opt out. He won't because he sucks and by 2026 will be a gas can if he loses even a tick of velo. We will almost assuredly get nothing back but he has very nice dead weight anchor potential that I would be eager to be rid of

    All low ceiling signings that a 100 win team would make. The correct process was someone like Giolito with 5 win upside to take the #5 spot. Unlikely that he hits but if he does you gain 5 wins because #5 is 0.0. Our signings were just drawing dead. Said at the time so this isn't hindsight
