The crazy part about the tickets that I bought off of Stubhub during the last game is that I don't actually even know if I'm gonna be poor yet or not! I bought games 6 and 7. If they aren't played, I get a refund and am sad. If they are played, I'm happy and poor. Crazy stuff. Right now, prices are insane. The cheapest non GA seat right now on Stubhub is like $2200 after fees which is ridiculous. Yikes! I have a few friends trying to get some but are waiting for them to go down a little. Because I'm a hopeful dork, I bought a hotel room for the World Series back toward the end of July. Felt kinda dumb at the time. Really is crazy that I might have a chance to use that reservation!! Now plane tickets are a whole different story. That one is gonna be costly. :(

Just curious what you all think about this hypothetical. Lets say that you are traveling from a long distance for the World Series and you can only attend Games 1 & 2 or Games 6 & 7. Which one do you choose? With 1 & 2 you are guaranteed to see 2 games. Games 6 & 7 may never happen and you may never see a game, but if they do happen, you could end up seeing the series winner! What one would you choose? Still can't believe I'm posting in a World Series thread! This is incredible! -

There was no chance to get them when they go on sale in the morning. I got them off Stubhub. There are some out there.

I live in Oregon, so it would be easy to hop on a plane and head to LA to see our Jays play a World Series game, but that is no fun, I want to be part of that incredible Toronto crowd and be amongst the best fans in the MLB. Just bought tix to Game 6 and 7 in Toronto!!! I'm so excited. I bought hotel rooms about 7 weeks ago just for fun. Can't believe that I'm going to actually be using those rooms if the Jays can get it to a Game 6! So happy! Passports are ready!

This is supposed to be fun but I have so much anxiety during this stuff. I find myself not even able to watch sometimes. I will go for a walk or do something to just keep me busy. Then I check in on the game every 45 minutes or so. Or I just pause it and fast forward through the Mariner at-bats after taking a break for a while. It's an illness I tell ya! I should be able to watch a game like a normal human being but it's been tough.

My nerves are shot! It's so hard to watch. I'm literally at the radiology place doing testing on my heart right now. Kinda crazy that it was scheduled for today! Probably gonna have some crazy off the chart readings. Also, it was my son's 17th birthday last night. Here's a pic of his cake! I'm sure the cake place in Mariner country loved seeing that order come in! :)

You just know that Gausman is chomping at the bit to get back out there and be dominant. I guess it's possible that Miller could over perform again and throw another gem, but I just can't see this offense struggling against him the second time around. I'm just wondering if Gimenez is gonna hit another one and end up wearing that home run jacket on the flight back to Toronto! :) Go Jays!

Can't say that the manager doesn't have a very large nut sack. You have to have a pretty huge pair to put IKF out there in a situation like this, but maybe he's on to something. Only IKF's Mother likes this move, but I'm excited to be proven wrong. Go IKF!!!

I hope so. The Jays need it! We all thought Miller was gonna get smoked by the Jays also but it was the exact opposite. Baseball is a funny game sometimes.

Disappointing for sure, especially living out here in Mariner country. Ugh!! Lots of pressure on our rookie pitcher tomorrow, but I believe he can get it done. It's far from over. Keep the faith!!!

I think Santander has hit the ball pretty hard on multiple occasions these last few games. Just happened to be right at people. I think he looks pretty good honestly and would like to see him in the ALCS. He has had some great at-bats seeing a lot of pitches and increasing the pitch counts too, His defense isn't great but it would be nice to have his bat coming off the bench to pinch hit in certain situations.

Detroit for me! I live in the Pacific Northwest, so it's all Mariners all the time around here and I'm kind of done with it!! I think the Mariners are a better team, so even though I wouldn't be able to travel and see a game live as easily, I'm rooting for the Tigers!

Vlad looks so confident on defense. Very underrated on the defensive side of things. Hats off to him and all the work he has put in to be a well rounded player!
