  1. In the batters defence for both sides, this has been a insanely large strike zone
  2. I don't think thats really true, he has had stretches where hes been productive, like in August and early in the year. His issue is sometimes he produces absolutely nothing
  3. Got a fresh Swanson and Romano at least, just need to bridge one inning
  4. King threw a season high 87 pitches last start, so prob thats about his limit. At 73 rn
  5. It's a massive strike zone, gotta adjust Varsho!
  6. Cavan for utility player gold glove!
  7. But only Bichette and Schneider have a higher wRC+ than him among healthy players, how could losing him possibly help us right now
  8. Maybe a strategical decision, and we'll see more fastballs 2nd time through
  9. '16 Rangers..won 94 games with only a +8 differential. Until we exposed them!
  10. Seems like a lot of their problems are self inflicted. They have better younger options to close, but Dusty keeps marching out Pressly. Same with continuing to play Maldonado over Diaz.
  11. I popped in on Steve Simmons Twitter account to see what he had to say after the Jays moved back into a playoff spot mere days after he declared them dead in the Sun, complete crickets...
  12. With the O's win today they are 2 games up on the Rays with the tiebreaker. Its possible the Rays won't have anything to play for in that final series and we could be seeing them rest some regulars.
  13. When the Ump yelled back at the Jays dug out you knew he was gonna make the Jays pay for complaining
  14. Hicks/Romano to close this out please
  15. Does the runner still get 2nd? Cause if he does, than I agree lol
  16. Well, that first AB didn't inspire confidence.
  17. Duvall has really good numbers against Ryu, so I get not wanting Ryu to face him a third time with two men on. But man, I don't trust Yimi here...
  18. And the year they didn't, they won 106 games
  19. Followed by...Marcus Stroman? The one two bullpen combo I did not see coming for a playoff contender.
  20. Yeah for sure, and I actually my math I think was wrong, when you factor in that Astros have 2 series against Mariners and Rangers 9-4 should guarantee it, but yeah 7 prob good enough.
  21. Unless I'm doing my math wrong, I think 11-2 is the record that guarantees a playoff spot
  22. While I agree that was a great move, I thought he still made some questionable decisions. Letting Espinal hit in the 8th felt like a wasted opportunity to tie the game, and he really played with fire leaving Bassitt in as long as he did.
