  1. Awesome! Thanks for all the help.
  2. I might try and squeeze one more prospect out of him. Would you do Bobby Miller or Brett Baty?
  3. Awesome! Thanks. I'll propose the trade and see what he comes back with.
  4. I took over the team last year (it was the last place team) and this is my top pitchers at the moment. McCullers Lodolo Eduardo Rodriguez Eric Lauer Sixto Sanchez Devin Williams Ryan Helsley And I don't have a 1st baseman as Muncy and Schwarber lost eligibility. So hard to dig myself out of this hole without making a trade and he's my best asset right now.
  5. My team is absolute s*** and I won't compete until Betts is 33 or 34. He's my best asset right now so I'm trying to build young depth for the future.
  6. Ok, thanks. I haven't made a huge counter offer yet, but he has Baz as well. I know he had TJS but my team won't be competitive this season. Like I said, I'm guessing it will take a couple years before I compete. What if I propose a Baz, Eury Perez, Vaughan, Springs (or Bello) package for Betts? Sorry for all the questions. I had a set back with my health so I'm trying to distract myself.
  7. Would Eury Perez be in that category for you?
  8. Another question, if Dansby re-signs with the Braves, where would Vaughan Grissom play? I have a few solid SS already so I'm not sure what his future positional eligibility will likely be.
  9. Yeah, I'll hold onto him. It's just frustrating. I'm trying to improve the team and I've got about 2 trade requests over the past year. Trades are extremely rare and my team is s*** and I'm trying to build depth, but I can't.
  10. He also mentioned Ranger Suarez, but I didn't think he was relevant enough to even include in the trade. I might be able to convince him to trade his first overall pick for my 3rd round, and then I could get Painter. So it could be Vaughan, Tork, Springs, Painter, Bello and Suarez, for Betts and a 3rd round pick. This league has the trading option, but there are rarely ever any trade requests. Very frustrating.
  11. And if you think that trade request was bad, the only other one I got for Betts was Melendez (when my team has Moreno, and Contreras), Civale, and Houck. Lol.
  12. Yeah, the team is young and won't compete for a few years, so Betts will be 33 or 34 years old by the time it's competitive. The team's biggest weakness is 1st base (who Vaughan or Tork could cover) and pitching. So I wasn't sure if the upside of these players in a couple years would be worth giving up Betts now.
  13. Would a package of Andrew Vaughan, Torkelson, Bello and Springs be fair for Betts? Or would the headliner have to be better than Vaughan? This is a points league, btw.
  14. Nootbar is going to disappoint quite a few people here.
  15. I was so against the trade initially, but I've come around since. If Teo had a few years left I would hate the trade. But if you look at Swanson's advanced stats, it supports the great year he had (plus, they get an actual prospect) The team needed a much better bullpen and I think they can get a player close to Teo as a free agent or through a trade (especially with the money saved). I think at the start of the season the Jays will be a much better team than they were last year.
  16. I'm currently at the gym, and if I read Kiermaier's name once more in the next half our, I'll punch the closest guy next to me. It makes me rage.
  17. Yeah, I had Grissom high on my list but I checked the Savant page and his max exit velocity is in the 29th percentile. Is that a concern? I'm not great at reading advanced stats so I'm not sure how he compares in other areas.
  18. Thanks. That's how I was viewing it. I could also take a position player. Probably the highest ranked available would be Vaughn Grissom. Would you rank him above Painter or Tiedemann as a Dynasty player?
  19. Oh, and Hunter Brown and Brayan Bello are also available. A lot of young pitching options.
  20. Haha. Yeah, it's a tough call. Painter, Harrison, and Tiedemann all made it to AA last year. Are they all likely to debut at some point in 2023? From my limited knowledge, AA is the biggest test in the minors and they all pitched well.
  21. How would you rank these pitchers: Lodolo, Baz, Andrew Painter, Kyle Harrison, and Rickey Tiedemann. I can get 3 of these pitchers.
  22. Where would Macko rank in our system?
  23. Thanks, I think I'll keep Marte.
  24. I offered all these players for a trade. It would've made my decision easier, but I didn't get one offer.
  25. I have Witt Jr, Gunnar Henderson, and Tim Anderson for SS. I also have Julio Rodriguez, Eloy Jimenez, and Michael Harris II for the 3 outfield positions. So I'm leaning towards McGill. But I still find it hard to drop Bellinger.
