It's such an annoying league. Lol. I basically can get every prospect that's on the rise. We have a $1,000 budget every year to pick players on the waiver wire or to add/drop players; and there are several teams that have a full budget. Very little moves made. I would like it better if there's more transactions happening.

In the one with Bautista. I would've jumped on it but I have Bogaerts, Henderson, and Betts who all have SS eligibility and I'm weak on P. But it seems like I'm getting a lot of value for a RP. Maybe I can flip one of the SS for a better pitcher eventually?

Nolan Jones, Jeremy Pena, Marcelo Mayer for Felix Bautista? Which side?

12. I have Franco and Witt Jr for SS so I've actually been sitting McClain. I also have Eury Perez, Grayson, and Baz as young pitchers that can help in the future. So I'm sort of OK in losing Williams to win this year.

I'm currently third in my league and I have the potential to win it all. A player was offering Cole for younger players. I gave him an offer that seemed reasonable, but he countered and wanted Mat McClain, Nolan Jones, and Gavin Williams for him. Cole's statcast page doesn't look overly great. Would you make this move to push you over the top this year? Does Gavin Williams have ace potential?

One last question: I might be able to get Manzardo for Roasny Contrares. Then I could get Taj for CES. I should make those moves, right?

Thanks for all the help. I told the guy I was going to stay with Strand and he message back and asked would I take the deal if he included Miranda. So I guess it would be Strand plus some scrub for Taj and Miranda. Miranda should get 1st eligible every year, right?

I have the following pitchers on my roster: Lodolo, Painter, Bibee, McCullers, Montas, Roasny Contrares, Liberatore, Stone, Bobby Miller, Espino, Hence...along with some top closers (Bautista, Devin Williams, Bedner). On the 1st base side, I only have Strand, Kirilloff, and Soderstrom. Would you still do that trade considering I have a lot of high upside pitchers and 1st is sort of a question mark?

I have Encarnacion-Strand and he was supposed to be my first baseman of the future, but I just got offered Taj Bradley for him. I'm weak at 1st base and P, and I don't know how to compare the two. Who would you take?

I was going to pick Painter with the first pick, but with his elbow tenderness should I pivot to Tiedemann? Other options are Baz and Flaherty. The team won't compete for a couple years so it doesn't matter if they aren't playing until next year sometime.

You brought it up before and questioned how could I be posting on here if I couldn't take on the league. And you've been implying that I'm exaggerating my illness. To make it clear, this is the only forum I interact with. Seriously, no other. I enjoy being a part of this community. And it felt really good to be asked to join the league at the time. I wanted to be more involved. And I went against my better judgement and thought I could take it on. As soon as I realized I wasn't really able to, and thought I'd be inactive at points, I didn't want to disappoint anyone here. So I was upfront as soon as I could be to let you all know as I didn't want to negatively affect the league. But I still felt like ass doing it. The other few leauges I'm in, I have no interaction with them in any way. I wouldn't be disappointing them on the same level. I don't know if you've been through a complete mental breakdown, but it's a living hell. I'm only now coming out the other side. And bringing up stupid s*** like me backing out of the league and implying I'm lying or exaggerating was dragging me down a lot today. Maybe if I was stronger mentally, it wouldn't. But like I said, I've cut out everything lately if I don't feel peace. And I didn't today. If you understood the hell I've been in the last 3 years, maybe you'd better understand. Are you still taking about me? I literally said it's affected my mental health since I was diagnosed. Full disclosure, I'm currently on sick leave from work since December 23rd due to a complete mental breakdown over my health and other issues. It's been the second hardest period of my life. I have doctor notes, EI sickness claims, e-mails to my work, and texts to my family to support it. To get myself out of this I've decided to cut *anything* out at the moment that does not give me peace. I asked about Espino, and you go on this f***ing dumbass tangent over a f***ing fantasy baseball team that I couldn't take on at the time. You're such an irritant. This stuff takes the fun out of it for me. I'll be leaving the board. Really enjoyed conversing with most of you, and I appreciate the help you gave.

I was diagnosed with a progressive disease in 2020, and it's been a battle ever since. And has taken a toll on my mental health as well. I could go weeks and months feeling fine but then I can go weeks of not caring about anything, including fantasy baseball, and not be involved. I didn't want to do that to this board. I had to recently give up my best team to my friend because I didn't want to waste such a good team. I only have one dynasty team at the moment to keep my mind busy at times. But I don't mind keeping that one as it's a s*** team and no one would really care if I'm not overly involved. Why the hell would I invent a story about my sickness on a forum where I don't know any of you really? I could've just ghosted the league or said I didn't want to be involved with it anymore and fade into obscurity. But you do you!

How concerning is Espino's injury?

Hey, yeah, I tried to join the BORED league a while back, but got diagnosed with a progressive disease at the same time. I was at the hospital and tried to learn the different aspects of the league but was too distracted to really compete, so I had to back out. But I really enjoy this forum and would like to eventually join a league again.

Yeah, I honestly have been able to get every rising star for the past two years. The league has become very boring.

Yeah, I got super lucky as I got players like Guerrero and Yordan on the cheap before their breakouts. I got Grayson and Marte for Strasburg and flipped Marte in a package for an upgrade. Like I said, I have such a strong team because I was the only active player. I got Peralta, Rodon, McClanahan, Baz, Witt Jr,. Gunnar Henderson, Moreno, Eury Perez, Kirk, Carroll, Springs, etc all on the waiver wire before their big breakouts.
