    I also compliment players deserving of such a thing. For example, i want Varland to get a shot at closing because hes been good. It just comes at the expense of someone whos been horrible, and of course thats what you focus on when 99% of the fanbase feels the same lol.

    I still think Hoffman is a good pitcher, just not a closer as he has no track record of being one in his career either. Keeping him in that role without being flexible of trying him in other spots seems weird but maybe they'll start doing that going forward so lets see. You guys come off as fakes who compliment guys while theyre on the Jays but then express your true opinions once they leave the team. Its what people who are paid by the franchise do, not randoms on a message board lol.

    Fun fact - the Dodgers backup catcher has more HRs (5) than anyone on this team (3). Yes, we have injuries but that doesnt excuse the piss poor slug we've seen from our team when theyve been in the lineup. While Vlad has been good in the field + getting on base, we need more slug from him!!

    Lauer is just expressing his anger from last year for being taken out of the rotation and then forgotten in the bullpen when his results proved otherwise. Didnt help he lost his ARB case because of it. However, he needs to stfu and produce better for THIS season. His numbers dont justify him opening his mouth.
