    Sure, a badly formed joke but I meant that we are on the same level as the Pirates this season. If anything, we suck more than them because theyve had to NL teams more than weve had to.

    Hilarious how you highlight the Pirates as a scrub team when theyre half a game behind us in the standings loll. Agreed about your overall point but finishing the season @ home against the Rockies seems like a layup. Again, we're 2.5 games behind them due to the tiebreaker so we'd have to go like 7-2 at minimum to surpass them while staying ahead of Texas/Houston.

    I prefer having Miles pitch multiple high leverage games than build him up to pitch 3 innings in one game. We got Yesavage coming back to do that now anyways.

    The whole "sustainable winning" BS we've heard from Shatkins was a massive failure. The farm system has been a joke and this team has tried to buy their way out of every problem because of it.

    Pitching is what has kept us in it despite all that. Its the joke of a offense thats been consistently screwing this team over. We're all nitpicking decisions because our guys simply cant score enough runs.

    I will accept the L for not knowing Miles threw 44 pitches in his last outing. Just remembered it was 2 innings so thought he could easily go yesterday. Then I will switch my viewpoint to just using Varland for 6 outs when you used him for 5 outs anyways. Top of the Rangers lineup was super high leverage and Manitply hasnt been in that spot.

    Would have preferred using Miles for 1 inning yesterday and 1 inning today than 2 innings today. The fact our idiot "braintrust" was so locked in that they didnt want to adjust to yesterday's game shows how little feel they have. Please do a cleanse to get some people who know the game on the team next season man.
