  1. Blue Jays' Springer awaiting MRI results on quad https://www.thescore.com/mlb/news/2149227 Please God tell me he's ok
  2. Shatkins mouthpiece confirmed. No one would dare say this publicly otherwise lol.
  3. Hes the 3rd highest paid player on the team man. Things are clearly not fair lol.
  4. You make sense of why a lot of pitchers are so volatile from year to year. The same management is responsible for some gems and for some abysmal signings. This is something very unique to baseball that most cant seem to master. Not everyone can be the Rays.
  5. Lol it's always great hearing announcers make up crap as to why a particular player is playing better. The player can be doing the exact same thing when he's playing well or crap lol.
  6. With the exception of the true elites, it just shows that pitching is a total crapshoot. For every Matz (assuming he remains good), there is a Roark/Anderson/Garcia. I guess all you can do is roll the dice on these types of pitchers and hope some pan out for the time you have them.
  7. Think you're talking about Kluber there. It's a similar situation. I probably should have stayed out of their back and forth since I wanted any pitcher (including Paxton) that would have bumped Roark out of the rotation. We gambled on Yates who failed his physical and it wouldn't surprise me that Paxton was in the same boat after only signing for 1/8.5.
  8. Ya listened to an interview of his and how he would have loved to play for the Jays but no offer was made. Hopefully this is nothing and he can stay healthy for the year. Gotta support the few Canadians there are.
  9. Did it make sense that we're trotting Roark out there? Most wanted another pitcher to take him out of the rotation. Didn't have to be only Paxton for me. Anyone would have done lol. Now we'll tank another 2 starts or so of his useless ass until we trade for a real pitcher.
  10. There wasn't a massive hole for him to aim at
  11. Same people who were so happy with the Yates signing but didn't want Paxton make no sense. Sucks to see the Canadian go down.
  12. Until we get robo umps, he needs to start swinging assuming the umps suck at their jobs. Too many borderline takes.
  13. This games a wrap. Onto tomorrow.
  14. Dude, stop. Brownie19's next post won't be as nice lol.
  15. Useless piece of s***. Enjoy the bench once Springer comes back.
  16. You could be right. I'd prefer to have Ryu have as many starts as possible throughout the season than to skip him for matchup purposes all year. It could result in like 2/3 less starts overall.
  17. One big hit and we're right back in this man. Do something Tellez!
  18. Ryu is pitching tomorrow...
  19. What was that in response to?
  20. Ya, even if our pitching is crap today, it'd be nice for our offense to show up at least.
  21. Roark just brings the worst out in everyone.
  22. Damnn... Brownie19 got attacked by like 5 people for that comment lol
