    Dealing with the same bobbles at 2nd would be easier since the throw is much shorter to 1st. It's also just an easier position to play in comparison with a lot less pressure. Let's see though, hope he can prove most of us wrong.

    Oh I agree. The way we can talk here is totally different as to how Bo will actually be approached. You have to be delicate with Bo about this since he clearly wants the SS position and is the face of our franchise. It was slightly easier with Vlad when he showed up to camp out of shape so he could be blamed for the decision. With Bo, the performance will need to be so obviously bad that we have no choice if he remains healthy. Going your route would be easier but it's tough to assume potential injuries can be your solution to a problem. We're not there yet but I'm sure our management is monitoring this closely.

    Damn, where were all you guys yesterday when I was saying Bo is not a SS given how he looks right now. I can't see the team keeping at SS for even this season with a better option right beside him at 2B. Putting his needs to develop over wins/losses this year is a fine balance. No players ego should be put ahead of the team just like we did with Vladdy at 3B. We're not there yet with Bo but things better turn around soon.

    Feel free to enlighten me because that's what I was asking for. I don't understand how advanced stats would measure the specific examples I gave. Are you just blindly assuming advanced stats covers every aspect of the game or do you understand the math behind this? Your response was "analytics bro" lol

    You should figure out the difference between hear and here before calling anyone else dumb as f*** lol. And I was responding to a person saying why would healthy ball players be getting covid shots. Coerced was probably a bad word to use... more like incentivized. There was a report out a few weeks ago about how so many NBA players didn't want to get the vaccine. Then the NBA came out and said players who didn't would need to be tested daily and would still have to follow strict protocols. Players who got them are practically free to do whatever they want. Those incentives give a lot of reason for people against it to just get the vaccine for their freedom basically.

    It is so they are allowed to do whatever they want off the field. The covid restrictions no longer apply to them. Players are being coerced into getting the vaccine that way.

    I'm saying how long would you stick with Bo at SS if he continues to make mistakes? There's a balance between costing your team wins this season vs hoping he gets better.

    I'm talking about that particular play where Bo went to 1st when he should have thrown the ball to 3rd and other times where he bobbles the ball preventing tailor made double plays. These are plays where he is recording outs and does not get dinged officially in the scorebook.

    When you make signings like Springer and Ryu, you'd like to capitalize on their primes. That's the unfair position our young guys are being thrown in. Tough to find the balance between what's best for this team in 2021 vs what's best for the player in the long run.

    Don't care for Zeuch but he's allowed 0 earned runs. Can't blame him for the misplays.

    Watch the games dude. Hes had bobbles preventing double plays that don't get captured as errors. The onus is on him at this point to prove he's belongs there...
