    Well of course I'd like the player who should be better next year but I would settle for Bellinger. Sign me up for players rejecting long term deals for "bet on yourself" 1 year deals. More often than not, these guys have one of their best years the following season. They typically spend the entire offseason focused as hell. Look no further than Ray/Semien.

    Sign me up for Bellinger. Like I said, I care more about above average defense than I do about offense at CF. Find sluggers through the other positions.

    Hurry up and sign a CFer so I can judge the Teo trade properly. Longer we wait, the more that trade pisses me off lol.

    I want to see an above average fielder at CF so I'd rather go after Kiermaier or Bellinger just for their defense and worry about offense from the other spots. As much as I didn't care for Pillar at the plate, I was more than happy with him being our CFer.

    Nope... we've had 7 years and I don't see enough on field production nor do I have hope in our farm system that help is coming. Now let's see how the offseason unfolds... they have another year to figure s*** out. Doesn't help having 33 million tied up to Ryu/Kikuchi.

    I agree... I just wanted to point out that our front office has accomplished s*** all so let's hold off giving them kudos of any kind lol.

    Would loved to suffer once we actually accomplished something. Suffering before we even won a single postseason game is hard to digest... especially when you trade one of my favourite players for a bullpen arm with very little track record. Let's see how we use the freed up money and position...

    Yes... when the front office actually accomplishes something, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. I'm a Raptor fan and you should see how I react to moves because Masai is the one pulling the trigger. Shatkins have not earned that yet...

    If we can land one of the best OF free agents in the market then of course I'd be happy but that's asking a lot to pull him away from the friggin Mets of all teams. You all know who their owner is.

    If Swanson was a sure thing out of the pen then it'd be easy to swallow but you can't fault me for expecting volitility from a bullpen arm who's had 1 great year. Did we really need to get ripped off in one move to make another? Didn't realize we were turning into a small market team here...

    All of baseball hopes their bullpen arms can turn into Andrew Miller. Just cant believe you'd trade one of your best hitters for that uncertainty when you're going for the world series.

    f*** the lottery ticket... you're talking about one of your best hitters on the team that has proven it for a few years already. I want someone who is proven!! We're not rebuilding, we're trying to win the f***ing world series man. Not meaning to swear at you btw.

    Trading a guy like Teo to a team that just embarrassed you in the playoffs will probably have more people who hate the trade than like unless Shatkins get a great haul.

    Shapiro would never fire Atkins. They're clearly attached at the hip and will probably go down together when the day comes.

    Ya I don't get it either. He's locked up to one of the best deals in baseball. Why bother trying to trade him unless he's horrible in the locker room.
