    They are that stupid. Shulman said many times today that the Jays are slowing prioritizing "who is performing" vs "what the matchup numbers" show them. Performance should almost always take precendence over what historical numbers show. Players arent robots who always perform in a linear fashion. Also helps explain why they kept tossing Swanson out there when it was clear he wasn't right...

    That's exactly what I've been wanting for over a few weeks. Not saying that it'll fix everything but at least you're doing your job as a manager to try to wake up your supposed best hitters.

    Glad we're keeping one of our best hitters in the 7th spot. This franchise is trying very hard to suppress Schneider when his play has warranted him being in the lineup everyday and batting higher sooner

    Schneider is visible every game so he'll get talked about more frequently obviously. Shatkins typically only come out when there's a construction project to talk about lol.

    Ya even with Bo sucking right now, his body of work is too long for me to think he's washed. I always felt he needed to be a 2nd baseman though.

    People cried about Montoyo for similar reasons. Schneider is just a puppet of the front office. Getting rid of him doesn't change the root cause.

    That beta shouldn't have made it after the end of last season. Shapiro being a cocky f***er thinking no major changes were needed should have him on the hot seat too now. Obviously he'll get the benefit to fire Atkins, Schneider and the rest of the coaching staff first but he should be embarrassed as to the direction of this team after 8/9 years on the job.

    Sadly they haven't had a favorable hitting matchup all year... you can't expect the starters to be perfect every damn outing. They've literally been pitching in high leverage situations every game.

    That was a good effort from KK... if he can't get that then no one would have.

    Like it's been obvious for a long time he's one of our best hitters when he's healthy. Somehow he's not good enough to crack the top 4 on this powerhouse squad.
