  1. If Schneider kept our Ace in the game when he was clearly dealing with a hand/blister issue, we'd lose our mind lol.
  2. Honestly cant remember the last time I saw this at night.
  3. Thank you Bellinger!!! Great on Clement to never stop running.
  4. Good thing is that this should be Fried's last inning.
  5. 92 MPH fastball right down the middle on the previous pitch. 0 chance they're pitching around Judge.
  6. Judge over Ben Rice... quite the decision. Don't talk about this too much or else the Shatkins police is going to get offended. Now let's get the bats going to make up for it!!
  7. Because you want to give reps to one of your best hitters now so you have enough data come playoff time. Barger has only been playing at this level for a few months so his numbers prior to then should hold less weight, and hes important enough to want to figure this out. If we face the Yankees or another team featuring a bunch of lefties in the playoffs, it would suck to not be starting him based on such a small sample size. Especially when the alternative isnt a major upgrade over him anyways.
  8. Sorry for your fantasy team but I hope we score 10 runs in the 1st all charged to him lol
  9. Simply because a starter gets 5 days of rest in between appearances so seeing our Ace only at 84 pitches seems light compared to using our high leverage arms 4 times in 5 nights constantly. Its not clear cut like you say though so I do agree with that. Its a message board so its cool if thats your viewpoint. I'm not even saying im 100% right, its just how I felt at that point in time.
  10. Holy crap dude... you dont belong on message boards if people arent allowed to agree/disagree with how the team is operating. It is the whole purpose of a game thread and you'll see TONS of people here critiquing decisions. Im happy as hell the Jays are playing great but up until 2 months ago, the whole world wanted Shatkins out and they were a joke around the league. So stop pretending this is some flawless group that always pulls the right trigger. Also, no one argued whether Little was good enough, it was whether you can save his and Yrod's arm. Yrod/Little/Hoffman have all pitched 2 days in a row and now we won't have any of them available today. Gausman was only at 84 pitches and just had a great looking 3 up and 3 down inning....
  11. Just means we gotta put a pounding on Adolf today to give us enough room for the HRs Green allows lol.
  12. I have so many happy/positive comments but you gotta pick THAT one lol. Anyways Go Jays!
  13. Mason Miller, Clase and Duran. Would take a massive haul to get any of them but boy would it be nice to have.
  14. Now we face the bottom of the Yankees order even with Bellinger probably pinch hitting for someone
  15. Great decisions Schneider... burn 2 high leverage arms in an inning that you could have just let Gausman handle. This is why you almost always ride your vet starter unless you got a prime Andrew Miller coming in.
  16. I'd trust the guy we are paying to be our Ace and is pitching like it vs Little who we have no idea how he'll look today. Not to mention its a long ass season so if you can save an arm then you should do it.
  17. I prefer not even use Little with the way Gausman is pitching
  18. Massive inning and overall outing from Gausman thus far.
  19. I was with you until the very end of your statement lol.
  20. We need go embrace being the 2015 Royals but with a top 5 payroll lol
