    Shatkins loves to disappoint. Rogers pretty much gave him carte blanc and he still can’t get any players. I know he can’t get all the players I listed so prepare for a repeat of 2023 or maybe worse. So much for shatkins big moves this winter.

    Pretty much half the 92 and 93 jays Gillick has admitted this was probably his best trade. Picking up Cone late in the season brought in another staff ace for the Jays. Sure, he gave up Jeff Kent, but with Alomar at second, Kent became expendable.
