  1. Such as? They went down 1-2-3, and like 95 % of the time with 2 runners in scoring position they didn't get anything in the 2nd inning. I can't get over what I saw on opening day compared to what this team has become over the past month at the plate, they've literally gone from the best offense in baseball to one of the worst. At what point does the hitting coach take a fall for this? I'm sure it's not his fault they can't hit anymore but he's surely not doing anything to fix it
  2. Another monster 1st inning, this is sickening at this point
  3. I found this gem on Berrios since some people here like to ignore ERA and WHIP and come back with a bunch of progressive stats in his defense. Jose Berrios (SP, Toronto Blue Jays) I can hear Berrios managers right now, saying “are you telling me that he has been lucky to have a 4.83 ERA”. Well, yes. The right-hander has watched nearly all of his metrics trend in the wrong direction this season, including his strikeout rate (15.3 percent), average exit velocity allowed (91.3 mph) and hard contact rate (47.1 percent). He currently owns a 6.84 xERA, and in 10-team leagues he is becoming a candidate to be released.
  4. Nice call, 5-1 but you had the Jays great hitting pegged dead on. Doesn't much matter if there's someone out there throwing 85 or 100 they can't hit, and it's even worse every time Gausman pitches
  5. They probably won't pitch him 3 days in a row but Cimber has been just fine closing out the last 2. In fact much finer than poopy pants looked walking a scrub then giving up a moon shot walk off to Judge.
  6. They never score for Gausman he either wins 2-1 or takes a ND every start
  7. Not sure how you can even watch this trash, there is nothing worse in baseball than watching a feeble impotent lineup that can't score, God do these guys suck. Sure glad I used that 1st rd. draft pick on Blows Bichette, could've gotten .235 3 HRs and 3 sbs from 20 guys who weren't even drafted in 23 rounds
  8. Doesn't matter what order they put these bums in they can't hit but this almost appears that Montoyo is trying to make them a laughing stock now
  9. Gausman is going to end up regretting signing with a team with such a s*** offense, they score 1-2 runs every start. Guy's pitched a dominant game and is going to eat an L for it, disgusting..
  10. "Stay positive guys!, I'll be rooting you all on from the IL!" I guess he should've taken his own advice to slow down
  11. Well Springer made it a whole 5 weeks before he got hurt again, might be a new record? The bats are really busting out tonight like every other game huh? I was wrong when I said this team sucked, this team is a flat out joke
  12. Did you cast your all star vote for him after he dribbled one to 3rd base?
  13. Berrios isn't good when are you going to get that through your thick head?
  14. Holy s*** these guys suck, should've kept Tacostar on his rehab assignment another week longer apparently. Never seen a team not be able to get runners home from 3rd with less than 2 outs more than these losers
  15. What makes Bichette's play even worse is having him on my fantasy team, they ranked him #4 in the draft I figured that was going to turn out to be ridiculous
  16. Vasilevski went from the best goalie in the league to trash, I guess some guys lose their motivation winning 2 years in a row
  17. The amount of times this team has a runner at 3rd and less than 2 outs and doesn't score them is mind blowing. Hopefully it doesn't result in another 1 run loss like in Cleveland. These guys need to stop trying to be a hero and hit a 2-3 run HR all the time and just slap a can of corn or dribbler in the infield and take the 1 run.
  18. I realize both teams get to bat with the same dimensions, but the Yankees seem to get far more of those cheap right field home runs than the road teams do to the point it's an unfair advantage
  19. I wonder if all these people who predicted the Jays heading to the WS from the AL this year would like a do over, this team will be lucky to even make the playoffs via that 3rd wildcard they added this year.
