Man, Brad Ausmus is a brutal manager. Close game in the 7th against the Yanks and he puts in Luis Garcia to start the inning. Garcia walks the first batter, gives up a ripped single, walks the next batter and walks in a run all without recording an out before Ausmus gave him the hook. Brutal.

Hard to argue with that. I guess it's easy to lose perspective with all of the scrubs acting as placeholders. -

Damn, that's too bad. Only seemed like it would be a matter of time before his arm started to give out considering the way he torques it. His mechanics always looked a little off to me.

McKinney no doubt edges him out as the superior piece, my point is with McKinney getting such a look, there should have been room for Smith Jr on the roster too. Not a big deal, but all the more confusing when guys like Brito are seeing so much playing time. -

I was thinking about this the other day. I think they should. We need some complimentary pieces to produce while the kids are up. Smoak would be some good protection in the order for Vlad.
