Because they pay them peanuts and they have to work multiple jobs to survive the grind of the season. I don't understand why some owner isn't enabling their players to fully focus on getting better by paying their way. Surely, that's far cheaper than doling out extra millions for free agents. -
I saw a report today that Frozen juice from concentrate was being discontinued in Canada as no one buys it anymore. I think part of that is due to not as much juice being bought as there used to be, but a far bigger part is that people now go fresh squeezed instead so much more often now. When I was a kid, we slummed it with minisips and juice from concentrate.

People don't seem to realize that Okamoto has very similar numbers to Seiya Suzuki in Japan. I think we would all gladly take a bat like Seiya in the lineup.

@Brock BeauchampI do recall reading somewhere that ad revenue in Canada is lower for TV than it is in the US. I wonder if it is similar on the web side of things as well?

The Giants are going pretty hard for him at the moment, which I would be happy with. It would be nice to have a lefty in the Jays rotation but given they have Lauer as depth and Trey arguably looks better against lefties than righties I don't know that it is necessary. Keep in mind they still have Berrios in 2027 and hopefully some of King, Tieds, Stanifer knocking on the door.

I'm both. If on my phone or personal device, I don't use one. If I access (from time to time) during office hours my work has a blocker.

That angels bullpen has the potential to be quite decent.

I think with Bo it wasn't about being a clubhouse ass....just look at how many guys showed up at his wedding. With Bo, it was more that the team doesn't like how they think his skillset will age (rightfully so I suspect).

People seem to forget there were months where Bo's heaters literally carried the team. Sept/Oct of 2022 comes to mind.

I'm surprised that Eye/Patience has not been added as the sixth tool yet. Like a guy like Bo is a 60 or 70 hit tool, but he doesn;t draw many walks. Luis Arraez is another guy like that. So you compare that to a Soto, who's hit tool isn't as strong, but he makes up for in just with his eye let alone his power to make him a much better option.

I can guarantee you the Jays offered Tucker nowhere near 60 million a year. If they had, I would bet he signed there.

hmmm, that's a CBT loophole contract if I've ever seen one. I don't think the AAV currently accounts for likely opt outs for CBT purposes.
