    I just checked the stats on Gift our 28 year old prospect in Buffalo. 1-16 with 8Ks and 2 errors in 4 games...OUCH

    What does Gibby do with Grichuk and Morales? The team is already carrying a SS hitting .191, 2nd base hitting .155 and catcher hitting .132. Most expect that these 3 will turn things around. We can't afford two guys with that weak of a bat at DH and RF IMO as this team is currently configured. Keeping a guy as a late inning RF defensive replacement that is not a base stealer doesn't seem like the smartest thing to do. Pompey is back with 4 SBs in 5 games in Buffalo. That seems like a better 4th OF option and we need to see if Dalton can be a MLB player or we will lose him for nothing. Who do you value more. Grichuk or Dalton Pompey??

    OK, I drank the Kool Aid to start the season. Lets rest this guy and keep him healthy. I am completely 180 degrees from that now. Dude is 27 years old. What is the end state here? Play him 2/3 games forever?? Dude needs PT and ABs. He stinks right now. Ride him hard and get him right. If he can't handle it ship him and his .130 BA to Buffalo to get it right. Next man up if need be...

    YUP, Tulo is still better than Diaz defensively and offensively IMO.

    or replace Loop who is a token LHP only. Gibbons doesn't seem to want to use him as a late game matchup guy. Mop up duty more like it.

    Cut Morales, bring up Vladdy to play 3rd and Solarte is our new 2nd baseman. That makes our team better doesn't it?

    Morales hurts the lineup. Grishit in RF kills the roster. Teoscar must stay. Alford, Pompey, better depth options than Grishit. We have a plethora of 4th OF. Thus we sent Carrera packing. Send RG packing too. Oh well, bad trade. It happens. So Teoscar RF, Pillar CF, Pearce/Grandy LF. No room for RG.

    Barker is entertaining....that is what he is paid to do. He will take a side and not blow smoke up the players asses like most of the other on air personalities do.

    I would like to see the team DH Devon Travis every third day that is his off day. Then they would not be without Russell and Devon in the batting order on the same day. Comeon, dude can DH without risk of injury can't he???

    Barker is awesome. He is taking on an ever expanding role and it is well deserved.

    Why are you advocating the Jays sell their young studs? Sanchez, Stro, Osuna will be valuable for years and years.

    So if JD cant play 3rd base and Travis needs one day off every 3 we need a better option to play 2nd base. On the market as a FA is Brandon Phillips. Why not go sign him to help us fill in. Good pro and he would have made the play in the field Travis didn't yesterday. Failing this we can always promote Vladdy mid April and problem solved. Ngoepe every 3rd day WILL NOT WORK OUT and shouldn't be considered.

    Team needs to sign an experienced SP for Buffalo. Someone along the lines of Anderson who finished up here last season. An experienced arm that can make 7-10 MLB starts and not kill the team. We will at some point need a 7th SP no doubt.

    Look at the bright side...it frees up a spot on the 40 man doesn't it?

    Anyone else ready to cut Morales for Alford? Makes the roster much better and more functional in my opinion. The money being spent on Morales is already gone. No getting it back. I hope the Jays go with the best team rather than trying to save face on the KM contract.

    Nothing exciting here. I was hoping this signing would have been a Brett Anderson or similar guy that has had some MLB success.

    Barker is very entertaining but i will miss Zaun. Siddall too dry/nice for my tastes.

    Shows you the value of Morales...less than $3.5 million. getting paid $10.5 HOLY!!!!!

    Sidearm should be easier on the shoulder than over the top. I don't think that this is related to this injury at all.

    Tulo not being able to play is shocking to me. Who ever thought that his ankle injury would linger this long...BRUTAL

    Stro show is a show. As a fan I love the guy and want him on the mound for my team. His comeback from his knee injury and his late season performance was historic. He had one of the best MLB pitching seasons last year and he is a Jay. Do I love all that Stro brings? HELL YEAH!!!
