The Blue Jays business model does not seem to give out extension when a player is at their peak.. I agree with this.. When they gave it Smoak the first time, he was in a little bit of a rut.. Grichuk, pretty neutral... I agreey you should sign guys who you think have upside/potential at a point they are struggling a bit to get better value. Smoak is doing great, as is Stroman, stats, wise... I think the window to sign was off season.. The value will be higher in trade vs what you would have to pay in contract if you tried to do it today.

So I can be a Blue Jay fan and a Raptor fan from South Florida, but not a Leaf fan? I don’t follow the logic? Aren’t you a Newfie? You are geographically closer to Boston, why are you not a Bruin, Celtic and RedSox fan?

No! Blister issues affect the secondary stuff too much. Might not be on the IL but still have issues.. Will be in the pen in 3 yrs.. Plus with Boras will not be able to get value in risk vs. reward.. NO!

I am convinced Buffalo getting PPD/Susp/Lack of games will guide the decision.. Not ratings, or ticket sales... They have not been able to get Vlad in sufficient games so far at AAA and especially back to back etc. I also feel they feel they have an obligation to give Buffalo a few home games with Vlad. -
It was pointed out by observers that Sanchez kept looking at his finger during warms ups in the pen and during the game his last start. I think Sanchez is a MM of skin away from getting hammered because he can’t throw all his pitches due to a blister or going on the IL.. Very scary, especially considering the Shoemaker & Borucki injuries and to me, Sanchez is very high risk.
