    Yes, but it is not all the ships rise and fall equally with the tide. I don’t think Tatis should be a prospect anymore either. However, whatever happens to San Diego’s farm system does not correlate with Toronto.

    No one is saying we have a bad farm system. MrsBlueJay said top 3, the poster said no, MrsBlueJay said he is wrong. Are all the posters saying that we will be ranked 3 or even 5 next rankings?? Unless we have a spectacular draft, I highly doubt it.

    You wrote all that for nothing. Try responding to the debate. He was talking about the ranking now next ratings coming out. You have a problem understanding that once guys have played enough games to qualify for ROY or not be eligible for ROY next year they are not in the farm system anymore and not prospects. They count towards the ML team. It is disingenuous and wrong and to include Jansen, very soon Vlad, Biggio in the farm and prospects. No one is debating February rankings. The poster specifically said when you remove the guys like Vlad.

    Dude, that is all dated February. Read the guys point... Take out Vlad, Jensen, Biggio and Bichette when he is up.. SRF has been a bust so far this year.. Not the same... No one is saying a bad farm system, but today it is not the same as February.

    I just Googled it. We are not ranked top 3 and most of the ranking that have us around the 5 range consider Vlad, SRF. (bust so far) Jansen, Bichette who will be in the majors soon enough.. I don't think we are down past 15, but we are not top 3 consensus and our 5 ranking was with a lot of guys who are on the ML team now or so far busts like SRF to this point.

    Dude, it is Florida, big fnnn houses on Biscayne bay, zero state taxes, a supposed commitment to be competitive.. There was no way in hell either of those guys would have signed in Toronto.. NO fnnnn way...! They basically both made it clear.

    It would have been impossible to sign Buerhle and Reyes.. They were NOT going to Toronto in FA and we didn't have enough budget to even move the needle by paying them double what Miami paid them which is what it might have taken to have them return our calls. FA was not an option for those two.
