    Probably doesn't really help. However, I suspect Mayer will stay with the Red Sox and hit at Fenway and in the AL East. The Yankees have two highly rated SS and Volpe is their best trade piece. I think no guarantee Volpe stays a Yankee and could end up in Oakland or somewhere like that....

    I actually agree with Grant for once. That was ignorant ass Tweet to even consider WAR for a guy who played DH 85% of his career games and the first and only true DH to get in the Hall.

    I wouldn't, I have Davis over Carroll... But remember, I am just one of many scrubs on an internet chat board... However, I think if you did some deep dives, you would come to the same conclusion. Although, with those two, I don't think there is much separation.

    So I am in a 30 team Dynasty start up with a bunch of guys on here (Actually they started it). We started the MILB draft last night. The MILB draft include guys in the majors but could not be picked in the MLB draft because not 50 ip or 150 AB like Cruz and Baz etc. So anyway, out of everyone, Volpe went #7 overall.. Regardless if you believe in him, he is a valuable fantasy asset at this time and can definitely be flipped.

    Just recived another offer for Tucker- Competing bid. I would receive Goldshcmidt, Baez and Stanton.. Same league.. I do want a 1b upgrade. Tempting.. Thoughts?

    There is talk he will be #1 SS prospect by end of year and pass CJ Abrams. That would at least probably get you a young SP who didn’t end the season hurt and has not pitched since (meaning no evidence of recovery yet).

    Dynasty H2H 18 team League This guy is after me hard for Tucker. Some of the offers are/were: Teoscar Hernandez, Joey Gallo and RP Brusdar Graterol- I declined. New one is Teo, Cade Cavalli and Shane McClanahan. I think I want more than that for Tucker. I am considering countering and telling him if he adds Houck (or another similar SP) to the deal with Teo and McC, I will do it. Asking too much, receiving too little.. Thoughts? Thanks!

    I have some 1B on the block, looking for an OF upgrade or young SP. Trey Mancini, Luke Voit, Pavin Smith (1B/CF/OF) Also Trevor Story SS could be moved, but not going to move him just for the sake of making a deal. Be fine to keep him as well. Thanks

    That is the only reason I could pull the trigger on that deal as painful as it was. I still have Wheeler, Rogers, Mahle, Gallen, Cabrera, Miley and Plesac.. So, def not as strong, but I think/hope, still very competitive.

    So I started with Rogers and Mahle, my instinct told me he would probably want Alcantra. He rejected Rogers and Mahle and countered with Webb and Alcantra. I could have split his counter down the middle and maybe added Alcantra and Mahle or Gallen. Only Adam knows if he would have accepted something like that. However, I do agree with his original selling point. I believe Bichette is a valid candidate for a top 5 Fantasy player. Young guys like Bichette don't became available very often and if they do even rarer you are a good fit or have the assets to make a competitive offer. Lastly, I didn't want to give anyone an opportunity to drive the price up my starting a bidding war. So, yes expensive, but I did what it took to seize the moment and get it done. NOT easy giving up Alcantra and Webb.. However, if you want value, you need to give up value.

    IF, BIG IF, I was going to take a prospect deal. He needs to include Green who he has. Also, I agree on the Bart consensus.. Did not add value to the deal for me.
