Yea but it's a better story the best team in baseball getting taken down by a team ravaged by injuries. Plus we haven't won a WS since most of us were kids. Kids god damnit! Not fair. When you put it into perspective most of the fans who were around for the Cubs not winning are already dead and its a lot of greedy fans who think they deserve it just because they haven't won for a while. They had slammin Sammy Sosa and some other good players, probably, should be enough to keep them happy for another 108 years.

So Indians at 35% on fan graphs might still be a bad bet. But I no be surprise if win somehow. Who does everyone like here? I know people are saying they want Cubs to win but I find it hard to root for the best team in baseball. Would like to see Indians take them down.

Probably won't happen. I don't think the owners were as dedicated to winning before. Blue jays will have to stay competitive or Rogers will be empty like it was a few years ago. Is the extra attendance and the extra tv ratings worth the extra 50 million in payroll?

Was hitting some balls last weekend yea definitely kills the hands more than I realized especially not wearing gloves.

Maybe not a guy who pitches most games in LA heat and not very often in October? How does cold help? Seems like cold maybe numb fingers wouldn't be nice to pitch with

Doesn't matter. Sure he pitched well in game 2 but people are results based and everyone will remember this performance, not where he shut down the Cubs a few games ago. Maybe it's the cold but just not pitching like he can. Sad but can't feel bad for him What would you consider choking then ? The Rangers starting pitchers didn't choke we were on a mission? Every pitcher makes a few mistakes but sometimes get lucky. He hasn't executed most pitches like he usually can

I agree they praised whichever team was doing well. Had good things to say about Donaldson, osuna, a few others. Only in the alds they seemed to want the losing team to make it interesting but I don't think that was the case against the Indians. They wanted it over with -
How many strikeouts will he get when he plays a full season at first base? Maybe he gets 20-25 home runs with a .180 average and .210 obp?

Don't think all these international players in poor countries and their families will be happy about this. No bidding wars for huge bonuses. But the kids still get a big bonus if they choose to sign? Guess mlb running training academies is better than privately owned once that can take advantage and pressure the players.

Gave up a lot of base runners but got lucky. Throwing a lot of balls. Bull pen couldn't get it done or this could of been close

I got one, 3 run home run and 5 rbi vs twins I think. Also a handful of home runs in blow outs, solid season
