  1. I am at place right now where I hope the Jays trade Vladdy in the offseason. There may be an organization out there that still believe he is special and the Jays may win big in the trade.
  2. Is it not time to move Jansen up in the lineup. He appears to be one batter in the lineup that seems to rise to the occasion when it matters most. I applaud the move of moving Merryfield to leadoff spot. Just think Jansen should be hitting cleanup or the 5th spot. I would not mind moving Kirk ahead of Springer as well in the lineup. At least until Springer begins to hit again. Jansen has 37 home runs, 110 RBIs in his last 162 games.
  3. I remember coming to this site complaining that the Jays did not do enough in the offseason to improve the bullpen. I got shot down. Stayed for about another week and realized that the so-called experts on this site that go about arguing every point don't know s***.
  4. Hope you are right. But his numbers are trending in the wrong direction. Maybe it is just me, but think Hernandez has done enough over the past few weeks to earn the cleanup spot. At this point given the production over the last 30 days, I think Hernandez provides much better protection behind Vladdy than does Kirk. At this point in time, Hernandez is by far the scarier hitter.
  5. Baseball is a streaky sport and you would think that Schneider would go with hot bats. Not sure, maybe Kirk has a great history with this pitcher. But to have Kirk hit cleanup when his recent numbers are pathetic is a questionable move. Last 7 days Kirk is hitting .000 Last 15 days Kirk is hitting .118 Last 30 days Kirk is hitting .188
  6. Really? Are you blind? There are posts stating that this thread should be closed because he WAS good when it was created or better yet....should be closed so he can get good again. Read.
  7. People suggesting that this thread should be closed because he is no longer good. Someone suggests a player is "no longer good" equates to me ....s***ing on that player. But I guess it is a pat on the back around here.
  8. Must be silly Biggio love leading to the Espinal bashing. Makes me laugh. Espinal is third in SLG, OPS & AVG on the Jays. 2nd in the league in doubles. He is playing at a gold glove level defensively. But yes, let's s*** on him. Good grief.
  9. Jays on the bases: like watching an episode of the three stooges.
  10. Kind of reminds me of the Green Hornet or Green Lantern.
  11. So many Jay hitters....having ugly at bats this season. It is almost like none of them are seeing the ball.
  12. “Stress should be a powerful driving force, not an obstacle.” Good job, Richards!
  13. Give me a f***ing break. Every damn Jay has struck out and Castro came in throwing dimes. Espinal does NOT need to be 'looked at.' By the way he is responsible for two of the runs and is only top three in the damn league in doubles....but yes, Espinal needs to be looked at. LOL!
  14. Say what you will, but I like what I see from Kikuchi in his last outing and what he is bringing today.
  15. Top of the lineup had a guy on third with one out....and nothing. But Tabby keeps talking about the problem being with the bottom of the lineup? I don't know what the hell he is talking about. Problems with the offense extends THROUGHOUT the lineup. Taby says some dumb s***.
  16. I know that they are behind, but the offense has looked better today. The Jays look more disciplined at the plate and are hitting the ball hard or getting their walks. Not a ton of strikeouts in either game. Jays offense looks like it is coming around. P.S. They could look better on the bases though.
  17. Is it legal to push someone off the base ...because that is exactly what happened. Should have been challenged.
  18. I liked the patience and discipline at the plate the Jays demonstrated that game. Bottom of the lineup did a good job of waiting for their pitch and their willingness to take the walk if they don't get it. I do hope they continue to show a good eye at the plate and refrain from swinging at pitches out of the strike zone.
