So looks like Pentecost is alright. Just a little sore and swollen. So probably miss a couple games or something. In terms of catching future, no set date for in game but he is catching bullpen sessions. The Jays are using a day to day approach on when he returns to catching. So I guess he might be close to catching if they monitor him every day.

There are many factors that come into this. Firstly is the bullpen. Our bullpen right now only has 2 people I trust fully. Osuna is Osuna Grilli has been fantastic And than a bunch of maybe's Cecil Biagini Benoit If you move Sanchez, your bullpen makes it a 6 inning game potentially. Secondly, Cecil. If he can find his form, than the urge to move Sanchez probably wont be that great. I have confidence he will find his form but its up in the air still. Thirdly, rotation. If you move Sanchez, than Estrada, Happ, Stroman are your main guys. I dont think Dickey is as bad as some say he is, but cant really trust him in a critical game. He can be hit or miss for most part. So your banking on Liriano bouncing back with being re united with Martin and I dont know if I want to rely on that. I would limit Sanchez innings but keep him in rotation

Umm why are we suggesting sitting Travis? Oh yeah sure bench him after one bad game. Seriously do you guys expect perfection every game?

Travis had had a tough game today. Those happen at times Good taking 2 of 3 games so far.

Chad Hillman @HillmanChad 37s37 seconds ago Pentecost just returned to the bench, grabbed some seeds and stood at the rail. May just need a day or two hopefully. Looks like he is ok. Thank goodness. If it was really bad, he wouldn't be back so it looks fine. At least I am hoping.

Ok is Dickey fun to watch? No Is he frustrating? Yes However he for most part, does his job. Yes he is also brutal at times but hey those outings happen. Lets hope we find an innings eater like him in the off season.

Real happy with the prospect adds. Also dont look now but Alford had another great game and average is now up to .234. He has been on fire for 3 weeks now. Pentecost with a good game and probably should be moved up but maybe he is about to start catching again so maybe thats why he is still at Lansing, if not than not sure why he hasnt been promoted yet.

Yeah he is looking great. I dont like the 4 walks but hey cant have great control all the time. Still struck out 9 batters so thats very good.

Thats unfortunate if true. I thought I saw an article that the plan was to resume catching some time in July but it hasnt happened yet. Oh well the sooner he starts catching, the better.
