    Another reason Atkins should be fired. What a mistake that Moreno trade was. Now we are stuck with Varsho. Kirk should have been the one traded.

    So Dan Shulman said on Blair and Barker that maybe the Jays go out and sign Lourdes Gurriel Jr this off season to play left field. My comment is, why the heck would LGJ want to play for this disfunctional Jays team and why wouldn’t he want to resign with Arizona seeing the situation they are at right now! I think to sign LGJ would mean having to massively over pay to get him to come here.

    We can only hope. The Jays need a new front office. But I doubt Shapiro is going anywhere until the RC renos are done. But at the very least, Atkins needs to go.

    Interesting point and you’re right. Schneider would have lost the dugout/clubhouse like he would have last season. Did not know that Pete was pissed. Maybe he will leave bc he doesn’t like all the analytics.

    Watching the post game show, you could tell Siddall was pissed at the Berrios move and he also strongly hinted that it was not JS’s decision at all.

    100% agree. Shapiro and Atkins are tied at the hip. Shapiro won’t fire his protege as much as I’d like to see it happen.
