  1. Liking what I'm seeing from Happ. Obviously a tiny sample size, but jeepers this team is good if we can get this type of pitching consistently. Yes, how dare he belt a high fastball 400(+) feet to center field.
  2. Here I always thought baseball could use a bit more contact.
  3. Now I want to know which one
  4. Did you forget a 'g' or are you just related to someone chaotic?
  5. He's out, but why not just tag him dummy.
  6. There was a ball hit off the bag that he had a lot of trouble with but that was understandable. The play where he missed the bag was unacceptable from a major league 1B
  7. Could the deal with Ceciliani be that they are still working on some sort of adjustment and want him to get another month or two of regular AB's before he joins the team in a bench role? Otherwise it's a tough move to justify, he at least shows some potential, whereas Zeke has proven to be not very good. If Ceciliani didn't work out, you could have always grabbed another Zeke off the scrap heap.
  8. New Legit Guy : SRF, Guerrero JR, Thomas Sleeper: Smoral, Burns Bust: Pentecost
  9. Too bad, he was always an easy guy to root for. He'll go down as a testament to just how fickle bullpen success can be.
  10. $69.99 - $59.99 = $10
  11. Somewhere there's an old school baseball guy who likes that play by Jimenez because a good catcher always keep his pitchers honest or some crap like that.
  12. 20 - 30 spots difference seems like it should be plenty. I really did not expect to see Alford so far out of the top 50. I'm not worried about the farm though. A lot of our most intriguing guys are young and inexperienced, I think we can expect an upward trend. Shouldn't see a big hit from graduation or trades any time soon.
  13. Reading stuff like this is really tempting me to go out and buy a PS4 and this game. I just don't think I'd play often enough to make it worthwhile. I bought '15 but it was a no brainier for $20 on the PSN and I've barely touched it..
  14. Definitely has to stack up amongst the best 'pens on paper, very solid. I don't know if it will intimidate lineups like the Yankees back end but maybe that's not a bad thing either.
  15. Interesting. It's always nice to have that extra versatility on the bench.
  16. He only made the team because Brad Penny retired.
  17. Is that a rumoured deal? I haven't seen that anywhere. Edit: Found it on previous page.
  18. Unless the kid came into ST and undoubtedly made the starting job his own, I think this was the the way to go. I'm interested to see what Ceciliani can do as the 4th guy, hoping to see him crack the opening day roster over Lake.
  19. Haha after the first pitch I was wondering why Lake didn't square around, found out pretty quickly. Could go either way
  20. I have to say I really like how Bautista handled himself in this situation. A respectful "sorry you feel that way" was probably the best way to address this one.
  21. I hope Stro pitches well so he doesn't lose his spot on the roster to Brad Penny...
  22. At least we get Stro but yeah that's rough looking.
  23. There's absolutely no "probably" when it comes to Stroman, he's the Opening Day starter.
