  1. Who did he lose out to for playing time in Atlanta? It's definitely worth figuring out if he's at least better than Carerra.
  2. Are any of them passable drag-bunters?
  3. Pretty good contact by Goins, but we need some damn base runners
  4. Hanley not Happy about that one. Happ has been solid, get the guy some run support already.
  5. Likely assists the hitting coach.
  6. Lmao they just snap the ball around the horn like nothing happened
  7. We were poking fun at how pointless and redundant your last sentence was.
  8. "Keep your chin up kid, all you need to do is completely reinvent yourself and be better in every way imaginable and you'll probably be OK."
  9. It would be understandable to see a guy struggling because of an injury that caused a drop in velocity, but it boggles the mind to see these good young pitchers suddenly lose their command like that. I'm sure it's a bit of a cyclical issue, with lack of command leading to lost confidence causing more command issues. In the case of Romero I do think he was pitching above his head before he fell off, but I really thought Hutch was becoming a solid, mid-rotation arm.
  10. Haha awesome, hopefully no lengthy suspensions for anyone important though.
  11. I'm pretty sure that just a couple weeks ago most agreed that this was one of the best and deepest the Jays have had on paper in recent memory.
  12. At what point does a model achieve the status of "super"?
  13. Floyd did his job just fine, didn't allow any hard contact. His biggest mistake was handing the ball to Gibbons when he shuffled out there.
  14. Definitely a questionable decision from Gibby, I feel like Floyd could have stayed in to get us to Osuna. That being said, on a day when two of your high leverage relievers are unavailable, one 4th inning home run (from a guy not even healthy enough to finish the game) isn't going to cut it.
  15. Rough start for Russ with the twig
  16. Sanchez was good and Happ was solid
  17. f*** leading off with our biggest bright spot too
  18. Quite the opposite, without him our lineup still stacks up pretty nicely, which is really saying something. Unless you are talking about this game specifically, in which case, yeah sure.
