D Alex Pietrangelo.....had a tough time deciding here but it's fairly slim pickings on the blueline

For me, I preferred Benn with my first pick. After Maahface took both goalies I felt I had to grab Talbot or be left out in the cold. Also Malkin is starting to get up there, so it's a tough call if you think a young player can put up similar production this year and beyond. I won't be surprised if I get as much value out of Nylander this year as he does from Malkin.

I think it's mostly just a law of averages deal, largest fanbase = most dummies. Most my friends know their hockey though, I was referring to baseball when I joked about bringing casuals to the board. Like that night I quoted my buddy in a GDT about Goins being awesome and his second favourite player behind Carerra.

Definitely, give the guy some starts and maybe he shows enough to be considered as rotation depth heading into ST.
