    I think it's mostly just a law of averages deal, largest fanbase = most dummies. Most my friends know their hockey though, I was referring to baseball when I joked about bringing casuals to the board. Like that night I quoted my buddy in a GDT about Goins being awesome and his second favourite player behind Carerra.

    Definitely, give the guy some starts and maybe he shows enough to be considered as rotation depth heading into ST.

    Always overshadowed by bigger stars in bigger markets but he's so steadily been one of the best at his position for his entire career.

    Even if he can reach a quality backup/fringe starter type level, that would make him the best young catcher this organization has developed from within in quite some time (unless I'm forgetting someone). Given what we've seen from our backup catchers this season, I think we should all be quite content if Jansen becomes a solid backup to Martin in the near future.

    Definitely interested in joining, but I'll warn folks that my last league shut down because I was winning by such a large margin every year that people lost interest.

    If there comes a time where Alford bumps him from CF I'd hope Pillar gets dealt, his bat just doesn't play in a corner.
