  1. Not if he chokes in his next start! If he spins another WS gem that should be enough to shed that label.
  2. Well yeah the guy just had surgery. I'll tell you what, everytime you post I'm just thankful that you don't have the time to post more often.
  3. Damn and I was just thinking the other day that we could use another Gord Ash type presence to help us float in the purgatory of medicocrity for years to come.
  4. I'm sure quite a few teams will look at him as a low risk, high reward play.
  5. Reaching 102 with big time life, with three breaking pitches flashing plus...that's not difficult to dream on.
  6. I can't say I often pay attention to the number of people online, is it normal that there's well over 500 guests on right now?
  7. I completely understand your point and would quite often agree but there has to be some sort of line between aggressive and dumb + lucky

Nope Carlyle coaches the Ducks, who allowed the third fewest goals in the league last year.
  9. Price sticks out as a very questionable move, as Boxy pointed out.
  10. I grew up hating them and just don't see a reason to change.
  11. The most attractive Canadian sportscaster is Sara Orlesky
  12. If we were to upgrade in CF, I definitely think Pillar would be more valuable to us as a trade chip - his bat doesn't come close to being good enough for LF.

The Flames caught a break there. The game really should have been cancelled with evacuations underway in the area due to wildfire. The Ducks are missing several key players and Calgary still needed a huge goaltending performance to sneak one out. A win is a win though, likely a big monkey off their back.

Big comeback by the Ducks despite missing four of their top players
  15. Phamtastic pun
  16. It's all a question of self awareness. This is a great place to learn about analytics, if you come here with an open mind. The folks who struggle to fit in are the ones who come with faulty opinions and are hard headed enough to argue even when proven to be wrong statistically.
  17. Would be nice to add a couple of their young stud arms, but I wish they had an elite position player to build a deal around.
  18. I'll take LW Samuel Blais (STL) That wraps up my draft
  19. 17th overall in this draft
