    I would have guessed an even 6'0 before I looked, but now looking at pictures of him next to his dad who was listed at 6'3, I wouldn't say he's more than a couple inches shorter, so 6'1 checks out.

    He's listed at 6'1 and there have been guys that size and shorter who have fielded 1B just fine.

    Well that pretty much spells out their plans at this point, and I doubt they'd send Vlad to Buffalo for only a week or two. Seems like we won't be seeing him until the summer at the earliest.

    I guess there's no reason we couldn't trade Happ and then sign him back in the off season (if our season takes is in that direction)....but either way I'd like to see him signed a two year deal if possible. We need the steady innings he provides.

    My favourite part was when the Jets scored to shut the Preds fans up right in the middle of their stupid goalie chant - and then added insult to injury with another shortly thereafter.

    And don't let him back without a comprehensive mental health evaluation. It's not normal to put your mouth on three other unwilling participants within a short period of time, or any period of time as far as that goes.

    It's a fun tourny to watch, seems like teams make a point of giving young talent the chance to prove their worth for future best on best events.

    I believe I read that contract talks between DJL and the Rockies have not gone well, so it's possible he won't be there to be in the way.
