  1. Also have they announced the price breakdown by A,B,C,D so you could get an idea on what you might be spending and can play around with price scenarios.
  2. I would assume that at least 2/3rds of the so called 41k at the game today only look to the standings to gauge the Jays playoff lives.
  3. And they waited until the end for the biggest joke of the day by announcing that over 41k in the building. There were less people in the building than last night and even Monday night when it was announced at just over 35K. Are they pulling these numbers out of thin air , have a very hard time believing 7-8K sold tickets would go completely unused.
  4. And to think this was a sure fire playoff team and World Series contender not too long ago with the dome rocking with over 40K not too long ago. JA Happ was in the CY Young conversation and it looked like JD might repeat as MVP, oh how times have changed.
  5. When are they going to release the dam categories for each ticket , so people can decide what they want to buy? Figure there won't be much difference between c and d games, the real jump and be between A and B.
  6. Great to see Estrada dealing today, very encouraging with 5 strikeouts through 2 innings.
  7. Nice to see the Jays play some small ball, manufacturing that first run.
  8. JD not in the starting lineup again tonight. Come to the conclusion that you want, when do we start getting worried it's something more?
  9. This is a very American approach, sports marketing and sales strategies differ quite differently down south. I would not be surprised if some kind of wondered around the league what the Jays were doing selling tickets pretty much all at the same level. Looking at flex packs it was the same $15 to see the Red Sox on a Sunday in September and Tampa Bay on a Monday in May. For one when is the 2017 MLB side out, I assume by Thursday.
  10. Funny thing is there was a time when a player like Joey at this stage of career could very likely be getting his best offer from Japan. There is no doubt Joey is an aging veteran but is there a 3 year deal at 75-90M somewhere out there for him?
  11. For anyone who experienced nights of 14-15K at the Dome especially when they tarped sections of the 500 level, this season and last have been simply amazing with excitement and big crowds back at the dome. I know the published all time low crowd for a Jays game at the dome is 10,610 from back in 2010. From speaking to a few staffers around the stadium, the turnstile count sometimes was even quite smaller. I would be very curious to how low it actually got? What do you figure maybe 7-8K.
  12. I know, Just looking at last year the last game of the season with below 40K was mid August. But man looking forward to tomorrow big time.
  13. What was behind only 35K tonight, first game since July 6 not surpassing 40K, ending a streak of 28 straights games over it.
  14. Never thought we would see another game below 40K this year, but we did tonight with the 35,335 at the dome. It ended their attendance streak of 28 straight games with at least 40K. The had 39,971 on July 6th vs. KC. I guess maybe with it being the first week of school and Tampa being the opponent may have played a part but who knows.
  15. Thank god, he is a 50/50 proposition at best, he is very much on or getting completely rocked, which seems to have more often than not of late. Also it mean no Tole in the batting order ( :
  16. Why was that not a double play?
  17. I love Buck, could listen to him talk all day about the game. A true baseball mind.
  18. I just dread a wild card game, only because I am not sure my heart could take it. Now if you really wanted to push it, imagine having to play a tiebreaker on the Monday for the second wild card. In truth this team realistically could be 5 wins better than what they are now but that's a whole bunch of what, should, could have.
  19. What will a sold out Rogers be like during the final home series vs the Os if they are totally out of it by then? No way in hell do I wish this , have basically one big hold on my credit card for playoff tickets right now.
  20. So is someone going to be stupid enough out there and give Joey at least 3 year deal for at least 75M, maybe a couple bucks more?
  21. Not really how much of a garbage team is it. Would you rather have had him do nothing last year and not have experienced that playoff run and division title?
  22. I certainly have not stop believing !!
  23. Hope I did not just from watching this infected piece of s*** on this Friday evening.
  24. Looking forward to the Tampa game on Monday, oh wait they are the biggest thorn in the Blue Balls Jays side !
