  1. Have my random 500 level single as part of my leadoff pack available to anyone that wants it for May 12 and 13 vs. the Braves just to get in the door. You can going bar hopping if you like. Going to be away.
  2. FYI for those who might be interested, know its the same time as the Jays vs. Tigers in the second home game of the season but could be fun, Gibby is never short on the stories. 3. The next two games are the perfect example of why I miss not having the entire man roster available in September/Oct. It means that some of the regulars will have to take the field at some point. Remember back in 2015 at Baltimore when the Jays clinched the AL East in the first game of the double, the bench was emptied for the night cap,
  4. Home Field in the wild card round, yes !!
  5. Thank you Tigers, keep it up !!!
  6. Never knew that was a rule, makes sense, good to know.
  7. A series with Ms will be given west coast consideration thus it will not be played too early. I could see 3 pm. With all the series in the eastern and central time zone and two involving west coast teams they will have to figure out how to space it all out.
  8. My fear is a Ryan Howard situation where you give a guy a big time contract and everything goes to s*** moving forward and that was only a 5 year pre- arbitration deal.
  9. I do wonder how much affect this down year will the Vladdy extension, are we thinking 10 years $300M, or will the Vladdy camp want more years on this mega deal to hedge against decline. Will the Jays really not entertain one until seeing how things go next year?
  10. Got to love the Striip Sensation , his back account will only be looking up when he hits free agency.
  11. In 2020 the four AL Wild Card game times were 2, 3, 5 and 7 pm eastern. The 3 pm game was at Oakland, so noon locally. If it goes along this line I would think it will be 3 pm for the Jays. Based on the current match ups as of today, I predict Ray at Indians 2 pm, Mariners at Blue Jays 3 pm, Phillies at Cardinals 5 pm and Padres at Mets 7 pm. Could see a few adjustments based on broadcast desires.
  12. Really will depend on who they are playing, there is no way it would be the earliest game if it's against the Mariners, thus having in at 9:30/10 am on the west coast. As of right now all the wild card games will be east/central time with two west-coast in the mix, so it will be interesting.
  13. Man what a night Kikuchi had , 3 innings of one hit ball with 5ks , great to see !!!
  14. Congrats to Bo with his 48th hit this September , setting a new team record for most hits in month !!
  15. This is the type of night the Jays exactly needed , get out early and keep piling them on, cheers to that !
  16. If first place is wrapped by Tuesday , in my eyes Kikuchi gets the final game start. Let him eat up some innings and keep the bullpen to a nor al works load.
  17. Thank you Cleveland Indians !!! That was one wild ride in the 9th, but you did the Blue Jays good.
  18. How is the Rays rotation lining up next for the wild card round? Will they get their best 3 out there? They could also be playing for homefield come next Wednesday.
  19. I wonder with him starting Friday night against Boston how things will be setup over the next week. Strip is going Saturday, Gausman on Sunday. How do Scheider and Walker use the next week to get the rotation they want in place for the wild card with consideration for home field advantage and not burning out the bullpen being given consideration.
  20. And the magic number is 0, The Blue Jays ticket to the post-season has been punched after the Red Sox beat Baltimore 5-3 this afternoon. Now it's time for the Jays to preserve the first wild card spot thus having home field advantage in the first round. How nice would it be for them to rip off a six-game winning streak to finish off the regular season.
  21. It will be interesting to see how they use the Baltimore to set up the rotation going into the Wild Card series? They are really going to have to be careful using a bull pen day in the final series. I guess a lot of it too will come down to if home field is still at stake or not.
  22. Thanksgiving plus the cheapest in the 500 level is $75 will greatly affect the pace at which tickets sell. I am a diehard Jays fan and can not do WC2 and 3 due to Thanksgiving with family. I do remember in 2016 , the floor on tickets price crashed with them down 0-2, 0-3. stubhub for game 4 was dirt cheap, I for a 500 level ticket for $25.
  23. More tickets have been opened up for the Jays, the last four sections in the 500 level outfield on one side. It appears they did not automatically put up all 30,000 seats at the start.
  24. Thursday night seems to be the one where there has been a run tickets, looks like it will be a near full capacity crowd.
  25. Whats the over/under on the crowd tonight , 25K?
