  1. Yeah but for comparison game 4 in Toronto starts at $87 compared to $41 for game 5 in Texas.
  2. TBS, those voices were coming from the truck or something.
  3. What are the notes from the pregame show they want, even its from twitter?
  4. What's the deal with those prices? Makes me wonder how low it will get Sunday for the first game back here.
  5. Hope no one throws beer on the field in Texas today, no one needs Walker Texas Ranger coming after you.
  6. The Ontario crown does not pander to MLB. They will only charge him if they have a reasonable expectation of conviction. Also quite reasonable they likely just want this to go away.
  7. It takes longer, right now they just hand you the can. Man to add to that they pour draft beer into pint glasses in the 200 level bars. Now one of those being thrown could really be dangerous.
  8. There are incidents at every game to varying degrees. If he had just stayed in his seat and security came, he most likely would have just been thrown out. The police would have shadowed security and only got involved if the guy made a stink, got physical or something. Simple as that.
  9. Riley's Haymarket just around the corner from the National Gallery would be worth checking out. Have watched NFL there before. Funny thing is, the previous sports bar at this location was Sports Cafe. Sports Cafe's first location was a Yonge and St. Claire here in Toronto. The owners then opened up the London location. When I was there in 2009, to my shock as I was walking through the bar there was a bunch of frames pics on the wall of 1992 Jays ( :.
  10. I think if in the end it is 110% proved to be him, common sense will kick in and he will keep his job. His boss, the sports editor of the Sun is a very reasonable guy. Plus if this happened at a bar, out on a the street or in the dome, it does not matter.
  11. I totally believe you can move on, the drunk goof balls at BMO Field were forgotten old news in what, a matter of weeks.
  12. One thing I can say with 100% percent certainty is he will never see the inside of a jail cell. The thing is, this incident really is no different than if he threw a beer can at someone at a bar. Charges don't differ if they are even pressed.
  13. Please no beer cans on the field today.
  14. Apparently the video is pretty clear according to police sources who have seen it. He as a cup in one had and flicks the can with the other. The don't seem all too concerned with apprehending him as such he might not even be in today for his interview with police. It could very well be a benefit to pushing it though the holiday weekend and let things simmer down in my eyes.
  15. There was an incident that caused a media firestorm at TFC game where a few drunken fans spewed some vulgar comments to a reporter on camera after a game. While their was a number of things the could have been charged with, ultimately the crown chose not to proceed. Ultimately as we did see in that case, there could be a venue ban.
  16. I think at the end of the day this really won't go anywhere. The crown will decide this is just not worth their time. The courts are stretched pretty these days. The cops will not arrest him unless they crown believes their is a reasonable chance of conviction.
  17. Need to take of business, avenge this !!
  18. They have high rez surveillance cameras at their disposal.
  19. Was anyone arrested after everything that was thrown onto the field during the 7th inning of last years ALDS game 5? That was insane how much junk ended up on the field.
  20. Just out of curiosity, did the police investigate|pursue anyone who threw a beer can on the field at game 5 of the ALDS last year?
  21. I second that, Sunday is going to be epic plus its a sure thing. How does pricing compare to flying to Dallas? Now those tickets are dam cheap on stubhub.
  22. Good to see the police have opened an investigation into the person who threw the beer can and have asked for them to turn themselves in. Apparently they have very clear photos of the said person. I am curious was anyone arrested for throwing stuff on the field when it got littered during game 5 of last year's ALDS? This type of stuff is just crazy, dangerous and completely unacceptable.
  23. Man, Stubhub for game 1 in Texas is starting at $21, while game 3 in Toronto begins at $100. What's up with that ?
  24. So whose Thanksgiving dinner plans might throw a wrench in this?
