  1. Hey, don't forget 6'6" Nate Pearson. Nothing is a sure thing.
  2. Considering this team is in sell mode and came out of the deadline arguably better is an achievement. Yeah, this season sucks, but not a bad silver lining. Ross Atkins grade B.
  3. A 6'5", 20 year old that hit triple digits on the gun is never bad.
  4. The end of an era😞
  5. Is this deal done or still rumored?
  6. Yah , they have to make a move for backstop.
  7. I saw Arrighetti against the Bosox a couple of years ago and he was striking out everyone. Looked great. I will take the ARRIGHETTI ARM in exchange for the SPAGHETTI ARM. Go Ross!
  8. Why didn't the Yankees make a play for Rutschman? Not that they could match that return but you have to try. Cashman isn't a winner.
  9. Don't see why Soriano couldn't slot into a SP2. Atkins submarined teams in contention by grabbing him. Such a boss move!
  10. The Orioles championship window....
  11. Once Varsho is moved (catharsis), there is a chance we see Bateman with the big club before seasons end.
  12. Nimmala doesn't suck and posters down playing his potential are wrong. He may well develop into a viable mlb player. However Atkins strong suit is he doesn't fall in love with prospects and detaches himself from future value conjecture. This team isn't going to rebuild, they are reloading for next year. With the payroll coming off, they will buy their way back into contention. Nothing wrong with that.
  13. The 5-foot-7 Southisene profiles as a hit-over-power middle infielder with plus speed. He has strong contact skills and rarely strikes out. His in-zone whiff rate is the lowest in the Cubs’ system, and he makes good swing decisions, though he is passive at times. Southisene doesn’t project to hit for much power. He produces fringe-average exit velocities and his batted ball angles are poor. Southisene has played primarily shortstop this season, but profiles best at second base due to below-average arm strength. He profiles as a potential contact and speed-oriented bench bat LMAO
  14. This org has a penchant for AAAA players. Looks like they're going to get snake oil for Varsho if this is any indication. What happened to the "sellers market" talk? Effing abysmal!🫩 Oh, and we play the Cubs soon. Get ready for Gasmans splitter to mystify our whole lineup. The timing lines up perfectly for him to start against us.
  15. Kirk putting on a clinic for abs challenges this afternoon.
  16. If Springer goes to the Bosox it will break my heart.
