  1. Showalter curse.
  2. Woke diversity jacket:confused:
  3. Well, it's all over but the crying. Time to put your thoughts together and do some analysis about the season that was 2022. Most valuable players this season? Manoah, Romano, Stripling? Who was this years MVP? Most improved player? Which player moved the needle this year the most? Biggest dissappoint of the season? Some easy answers here but I know there are also some controversial opinons to be had. Vlad didn't put up 2021 numbers but was he a dissappointment? How do you rate the front office? Where does Shapiro and Atkins stand? How do you rate the Coaching Staff? Who should stay who should go? Do we clean house here? John Schneider........Manager Pete Walker.............Pitching Coach Giullermo Martinez....Hitting Coach GAPS Analysis. What were we missing the most this year? 4th outfielder, swing and miss arms in the pen, front line starter, LH bats, a top of the line defensive shortshop? Vetrin presents? Overall team culture. Does this team have the right mindset to win? Or does this even matter? What say you BJMB?
  4. Tough day to put this poll up. Like asking someone how they enjoyed dinner last night after getting their stomach pumped for food poisoning. edit: I vote to keep him. Yeah he blew chunks at the trade deadline, but he likely did what could given the resources he gave up. He improved the pen. Brought in Chapman. The only thing that sticks out to me is the perrenial bull pen issues.
  5. I think we have to take it easy on Romano here. He came into the 8th with two on. He allowed a base hit. Then he got the next two batters out. Big outs. The BFH (bloop from hell) well, what could he do? If the BFH had been caught we may be talking about him being one of the games mvp’s this morning.
  6. The Espn broadcast were pretty surprised Romano didn't start the 8th. In fact at the end of the 7th they stated that in a win or go home game, we will for sure see Romano get six outs to close out this game. Schneider pulled on over on them.
  7. There is no such thing as absolutes in sports. This is absurd.
  8. I posted these in the gdt and then deleted when I saw you beat me to it. Heartbreaking when it's broken down like that.
  9. Congratulations to the Seattle Mariners. After a long playoff drought they're back. Could be the Cinderella story of 2022. Or they will go through a meat grinder in the Houston series and get swept.
  10. One of the reasons this one hurts is because one through nine, we have a better lineup. They have the arms though which is one of the reasons I didn't want to play them. Sober second thought tells me that Cleveland would have shut us down too. Back to the drawing board for Atkins/Shapiro I guess. Gonna be a cold winter.
  11. Okay Vlad, we've all seen the movie. The reviews are in.
  12. Yep. Much worse. It was a slow death over the course of a week.
  13. Yeah. Everyone is angry right now. Not the time to make judgements. Schneider should be back, but he is green.
  14. 1. There already is a Fire Schneider thread. 2. I forgot you believe the manager can never make a bad decision.
  15. I've always been a Schneider supporter but some damn questionable moves this game. Gausman coming out when he did. Tapia as defensive replacement late in the game with a lead.
  16. If Festa comes in we should get a few more knocks.
