Trading Teo et al for pitching will improve the team. Dumping Gurriel for meh prospects will not improve the the team. $5m is pocket change. Trading argueable our best young hitter (Kirk) will not improve the the team short term and long term. Upon consideration your ideas are dumn.

So.... Teoscar has minimal trade value, so don't trade him. Gurriel is worse than Teo, so don't trade him cause he has even less value than Teo. Jansen is good so don't trade him. Upgrade CF so you can upgrade RF/LF by "removing Gurriel" (move him to the grounds crew cause he has no trade value).

Yeah I don’t know. His fielding percentage is on the lower end so there is that but the Jays also shifted a lot this past season so maybe that affected his drs? His error totals could probably be reduced 20% if held up he ball instead of trying to make a play.

Looking back to the start of the 2022 season we all realized our pen was crap in 2021 but it seems more than a few of us were bullish on the 2022 pen. Hat tip to the posters above, Carlos Danger, Jays24 and L54. They called it early in April.

Team culture matters. At every level. I will concede though that there have been championship teams that didn’t get along. The Bulls teams of the 90s is one such example. But more often than not they would have one or two Alpha’s on the team who led the way. This team doesn’t appear to have that.

My “claims” are as follows. Cliques are not good. My gut tells me other teammates don’t like it. That is it.
