    And this is what makes Manoah a less than sympathetic character. Guys like him are literally sitting on winning lottery tickets and yet come to training camp in slightly better shape than your fathers softball league outfielder. As a professional athlete, if I can’t see your belt buckle because of the fat hanging over your torso, there is definitely a problem. The same thing can be said of Kirk. So while I sympathize with his predicament about being demoted, he in no way should garner any sympathy from Bluejay fans. He acted like he was Justin Verlander on the mound, but without all the achievements to go with it. Let’s hope he gets his body and his mind in shape.
