    Yeah I think so. Assessment will be based on actual loss of time over the 182 days of eligible season play. I’m not 100% on this though.

    Have to bear in mind that insurance claims for players are filed after the contract is over. Whatever dollars the Jays recoup from the Ryu contract it will be after the 2023 season.

    I agree with the sentiment here. Some media types think they should have a job guaranteed for life. If you’ve had a run exceeding 20 years there shouldn’t be a lot to bitch about. Take note, Lisa Laflamme, Rod Black, Bob Mccown, Leo Rautins….

    Sometimes introverts are percieved as being aloof. Easy mistake to make with Bo as well. I think the guy is a pretty solid teammate who is a hard worker. We could use more like him.

    Clubs that are $40 million or more above the threshold shall have their highest selection in the next Rule 4 Draft moved back 10 places unless the pick falls in the top six. In that case, the team will have its second-highest selection moved back 10 places instead.

    Yup. The first year we are over we pay 20% of the overage to the league. Of that 20% the teams that stay under get half of it. Every consecutive year over the cbt threshold the payment penalty goes up. Ie. in the second year over we would pay 30% and the third year over we would pay 50%.
