    We were awful at the beginning of May last year as well. We're getting good starting pitching but all of our bats cooled at the same time and there is a vacuum with risp. It's a slump. We will pull out of it. Are we going to win the east? Doesn't look like it, we didn't make hay while the sun was shining. This is still a playoff capable team. Once in, we can beat anybody in a short series; anybody.

    Don't write him off so quick, he had some great years in LA.

    Garcia and Swanson have been over used and we're still in May. Perhaps pen management is Schneider's worst attribute.
