Ross Atkins did his job and assembled a good team. So good in fact, that many prognosticators picked this Jays team to challenge for the AL championship at the beginning of the season. Then he solidified the bullpen to elite levels at the deadline. They have had key players underperform. That's not on him. Employing Schneider and the rest of the staff is on him though. It's not a good situation we're in and Atkins should get his share of the blame as the GM, just not all of it.
