  8. Would now be a good time to go into the rabbit hole that is DRC+ ? Cause I think that is where people will start looking (eventually) for future performance indicators; especially if you fancy fantasy leagues or betting. If you're into this kind of thing, here's an article right from the horses mouth: https://www.baseballprospectus.com/news/article/45432/why-drc/
  9. The Toronto Blue Jays face the San Diego Padres with a 1-0 series lead. San Diego has a 5-7 record at home and an 11-11 record overall. Padres pitchers have a collective 4.04 ERA, which ranks sixth in the NL. Toronto is 5-6 in road games and 11-9 overall. The Blue Jays have gone 2-1 in games decided by one run.
  10. I don't get why you posted whiff vs SO for the milb in regards to the current Jays lineup and how it correlates to your initial post. Are you saying that the approach is systemic throughout the system? If so I don't disagree but what I'm pointing out is that having (as a team) higher EVs and barrels doesn't immediately mean your offense is better. The difference is subtle but it's there.
  11. The above speak more to the TYPE of hitters and less so to the efficacy of the offense. Have to be careful drawing conclusions from this.
  12. Lol. Gotta pay attention to your catcher.
  13. Another W for the good guys. See ya tomorrow night gents.
  14. s***....stranded a leadoff triple. Brutal.
  15. Yimi not to be denied. Wow.
  16. Jano pulls it down the line. So glad he's back.
  17. Yes. Didn't want to see Pearson go down especially considering we're carrying Vogelbach on this team for reasons unknown.
  18. Mayza isn't in my circle of trust yet. Hope he gets out of the inning.
