The only option should be a platoon between Goins and Barney. But I would prefer if Goins was strictly the backup infielder.

Oakland did very well. It doesn't matter what prospects the Dodgers trade they always have the ability to restock the system or buy whoever they want.

You can't blame Shartkins for not wanting to overpay. If you don't see something that makes you a lot better today you don't do it. I wanted Reddick and Hill but very few teams could offer more than the Dodgers can.

They should probably just put him on the DL to give him 2 weeks to get this right. Instead of him sit on the bench for several games and completely limit the bench. What a frustrating and disappointing injury. I applaud him for trying to continue. Nobody is more annoyed with the injury prone label than him. We need him right though.

Cecil pitched fine. Why not blame Morales who issued a four pitch walk to a lefty that he was signed to get out. You have to actually watch the game.
