    The report on McGuire is that he's atleast a full season away. And that has more to do with his bat that the Blue Jays will probably will want to try a little longer to develop. If its not Thole its Kratz or Jimenez. Apparently Jimenez has rebuilt some value in the organization because hes been name dropped by Atkins mutiple times.

    So 3 years later he will want to play on turf?The Yankees tried to talk him into full time DH. He insisted on playing the field. He was actually hurt earlier in the year and that's why he played DH. He will go somewhere that lets him play OF. Teams will live with him LF or RF to get his bat in the lineup.

    Sometimes he blows. Sometimes he doesn't. Inconsistent middle of the rotation starter.

    He actually doesn't want to DH all the time. He also said he doesn't want to play on the Turf in Toronto. So hes not an option.

    I hate those scouting reports. They are either way to conservative. Or go overboard for certain guys.

    That doesn't mean he doesn't want to play for the Blue Jays. He was also very vocal about the Raptors playoff run. And when he won MVP was upset the letter from the Prime Minister was "lost in the mail". He said if this was from Barrack Obama he would have recieved it the same day it was sent. Hes played with the Reds his entire career and they are paying him a s*** load of money. It's natural to say you don't want to leave.
